We need an enthusiastic, independent, and motivated Diesel Generator Apprentice Technician for our Martinez, CA location. Qualified candidates must have a valid CA driver's license and clean driving record, pass a pre-employment background and drug screening, and be available to work overtime, as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Enroll in the EGSA Technician Apprenticeship program (time of completion is 3-4 years).
    • Attend in-person teaching and training every Thursday from 6:30 am - 8:30 am.
    • Complete 3-4 hours of schooling per week on your own time.
  • Perform jobs as assigned by the supervisor with minimal supervision.
  • Fulfill paperwork requirements.
  • Lead by example in attitude, safety, productivity, and cleanliness.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Learn and perform all aspects of repairs, services, and maintenance on various generators.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Be a "team player".
