About the role

Seeking a skilled System Engineer with expertise in Windows Server and cloud-based systems to join a mission operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience in system installation, configuration, administration, and support, particularly in cloud environments and Citrix-based desktops. This role requires a Top Secret clearance and offers the opportunity to work on critical government projects with a focus on system performance and security.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead system changes and improvements in collaboration with government and contractor points of contact.
  • Troubleshoot and respond to complex user incident reports.
  • Proactively recommend configuration changes to improve system performance.
  • Deploy security patches and bug fixes to test and operational environments.
  • Update critical databases with new data.
  • Author and maintain operational and security documentation, including troubleshooting guides and SOPs.
  • Support cloud-based geospatial solutions and mission operations.
  • Perform security remediation tasks based on security scans.
  • Collaborate using team tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Job Requirements
  • Windows Admin experience in an AWS environment to include PowerShell and Active Directory administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (or 2 years with a Master's degree).
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with cloud-based systems, especially AWS architectures and technologies.
  • Proficiency in Citrix administration in cloud environments.
  • DOD 8570 Certification (Security+ or equivalent or higher).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex system issues.
  • Ability to author and update operational and security documentation.
  • Familiarity with software development and integration in service-oriented or virtualization environments.
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI post-hire.
