Industrial Engineering Co-Op

East West Manufacturing is seeking a motivated Industrial Engineering Co-Op Intern with a strong interest in data analytics to join our team. This role combines industrial engineering principles with analytical skills to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, clean, and analyze operational and production data to identify trends and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist in developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Support time studies, workflow analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations using statistical methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Document findings and present actionable insights to engineering and operations teams.
- Currently pursuing an advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and basic knowledge of Python, R, or other analytics languages preferred.
- Knowledge of LLM development or other AI tools a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and statistical analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
