Job Overview - Senior Tax Associate:
Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000/year + bonus
Location: Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Advance your career as a Senior Tax Associate with our client in Greenwich, CT (Hybrid). Prepare and review complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and small businesses while providing tax planning and compliance support. Collaborate with partners and clients to develop strategic tax solutions, oversee filings such as 1099s, payroll, and sales tax, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of returns. This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional seeking growth in a dynamic and client-facing environment.

Responsibilities as the Senior Tax Associate:
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare complex federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Review & Quality Control: Conduct first-level reviews of tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Tax Strategy: Analyze client financials to develop effective tax planning strategies that optimize results.
  • Filings & Compliance: Support 1099s, payroll filings, sales tax, and other compliance requirements.
  • Client Advisory: Provide proactive tax guidance and respond to client inquiries.
Qualifications for the Senior Tax Associate:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Licensure: CPA preferred.
  • Experience: 4+ years of tax experience in public accounting or related field, with strong exposure to high-net-worth individuals, small businesses, and partnerships.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, with QuickBooks or similar systems preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
