Position Purpose:

The Trainer position assists the Training Operations Lead in delivering training content through live training, online learning platforms, video, audio, and other mediums to produce excellent phone ministers according to the standard set by Phone Operations within Communication Services. This position is pivotal in equipping onboarding and existing phone ministers, as well as other teams as needed, through excellent training and an outstanding work attitude.

The Trainer is to collaborate with Phone Operations, Written Operations, and a team of trainers to provide training content and processes to ensure quality training. The Trainer will collaborate with our Phone Operations teams to calibrate training content to ensure the reflection of Phone Operations standards across all phone skill sets.

This position is on-site, located at Charis Bible College. Out-of-state applicants will not be considered at this time.

Essential Duties:
  • Assist the Training Operations Lead with the creation and execution of departmental goals
  • Provide instructor-led classroom training for all skillsets for Phone Ministers as needed
  • Provide instructor-led training utilizing ZOOM, Skype, or other remote modalities to train remote ministers
  • Provide coaching, including 1-on-1 meetings during training transitions
  • Collaborate with other trainers on multiple projects in the creation of training courses for each skill set within the department
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge to ensure best practices for employee training
  • Evaluate current training courses for effectiveness and make recommendations for updated or new training content, including but not limited to modules and videos
  • Ensure adherence to communication standards during training transitions and collaborate with the Phone Operations team for continued quality assurance standardization in the department
  • Collaborate with the Phone Operations teams to implement effective, measurable, and ideal communication standards for phone calls across all skill sets
  • Collaborate with the Phone Operations teams through the cstraining@awmi.net email account to address ministry concerns that arise through phone calls
  • Participate in team meetings within the Maximum CEO (Radtke) leadership model
  • Understand the Dean Radtke Leadership Training Model and incorporate it into training resources
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all processes and procedures for all skill sets
  • Maintain general knowledge of prayer, ministry, doctrinal, and customer service response policies and procedures, and make relevant recommendations
  • Assist the Training Operations Lead to achieve E-Training's objectives and goals within Communication Services
  • Work under strict timelines to complete project requirements with excellence
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of online learning platform courses, ensuring a high level of professionalism in communication
  • Create and edit customized training videos, continuing education videos, and refresher courses using Adobe Premier Pro Creative Suite and Camtasia 2019 software
  • Provide quality control and copyright validation for all content resources delivered
  • Continue to take phone calls and handle written responses on an as-needed basis
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite
Requirements:
  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith
  • Excellent understanding of all skillsets within Communication Services
  • Excellent performance in all currently trained skillsets
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
  • Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred
  • Must pass all required checks
Experience:
  • Communication Services experience is required
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience is required
  • 1-3 years of ministry experience is preferred
  • 1-3 years of professional training experience is preferred
  • Prior E-training experience preferred
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience
