Accounts Receivable Analyst

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will spend most of your day involved in collections through email and phone, applying credit memos and payments, while managing a portfolio of 300-350 customers. Experience in credit analysis for backup support to the Credit Team is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all collection efforts for trade receivables, including contacting customers and field operations.

• Act as a liaison to resolve receivable matters and disputes.

• Support field offices for customer accounts-related activities.

• Provide recommendations on payment plans for customers as needed.

• Respond promptly to statement inquiries and questions on the Accounts Receivable master phone line.

• Maintain strong working relationships with other departments and team members by providing outstanding customer service.

• Perform consolidated account summaries by pulling and consolidating data from multiple locations.

• Participate in special projects, including audit support and month-end tasks.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of business experience with collections experience preferred.

• College degree in Finance or Accounting desired.

• Excellent verbal and negotiation skills.

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

• Affinity for numbers.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle and Highradius is a plus.

• NACM certification is a plus.

• Experience with large ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.

Work Environment

Our dynamic work environment allows you to work flexible hours without a set time to come in or leave. The team is currently rebuilding and growing rapidly after being impacted by the pandemic. You will be part of a 12-member team that has merged AR and Collections tasks, providing a comprehensive experience. We offer free coffee and are excited to bring back free soda soon. Work is hybrid with three days in the office.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schiller Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
