The facility features advanced diagnostics, including a fully equipped in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and CT with fluoroscopy-providing everything needed to deliver top-tier emergency medicine.
Flexible scheduling options are available, including 2-3 shifts per week, block schedules, extended rotations, and more. A generous travel stipend of up to $25,000 per year is also available for non-local veterinarians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient exams, diagnostics, and emergency procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients and the medical team
- Maintain accurate medical records and manage controlled substance protocols
- Support hospital operations, teamwork, and daily rounds
- Participate in ongoing training and practice improvement
- DVM degree with active state license and DEA eligibility
- 1+ year of emergency experience
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills
- Ability to work confidently in high-stress situations
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform moderate activity
- Advanced clinical assessment and problem-solving abilities
- Professional communication and teamwork
- Understanding of hospital operations and ethical standards
- Commitment to continuing education
