This role is crucial in supporting our mission to put patients first while fostering a collaborative and respectful working environment. As a key member of our care team, you’ll play an essential role in assessing and guiding individuals toward the help they need.

Position Details:

  • Department: Behavioral Health
  • Schedule: Part-Time, Days
  • Location: St. Anthony Hospital - Oklahoma City

Your Mission:

As a Behavioral Health Intake Specialist, you will:

  • Conduct thorough interviews and behavioral health assessments for potential admissions, including telehealth assessments.
  • Provide essential admission and intake services to both inpatient and outpatient clients.
  • Respond to inquiries from individuals seeking mental health care or information about our services.
  • Coordinate admissions based on physician orders and facilitate transportation as needed.
  • Document all calls and related admission information accurately.
  • Review paperwork for compliance with hospital and regulatory policies.
  • Perform insurance verification and prior authorization.
  • Stay alert and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health or a related field.
  • No prior experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Frequent use of vision, hearing, and oral communication.

Licensure Requirements:

This position requires relevant licensure in your state of practice.

Work Shift:

PRN / Per Diem Shift (United States of America)
