This full-time position features a structured schedule of three convenient 12-hour shifts, allowing you to enjoy a four-day weekend every other week This role is onsite at one of our Capital Region locations, with some reimbursable travel required between sites.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and perform complete physical examinations.
  • Collect essential clinical data, including vitals, specimens, and point of care testing.
  • Conduct occupational medicine assessments.
  • Ensure accurate patient coding and maintain detailed medical reports.
  • Lead the clinical staff on site.
  • Mentor students and newer clinical personnel.

Requirements:

  • Valid New York license and registration as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current DEA certification.

Education Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • NCCPA Registration.
  • Applicable state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.

Experience:

  • Preferred 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care setting, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sound critical judgment.
  • Ability to remain calm and collected in emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of the scientific process and national care standards for effective patient management.
  • Proficient in computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems.
  • Professional demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a genuine commitment to patient care.
  • Adherence to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
