Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/hr
Assignment Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Assistant for a 13-week long-term assignment with the potential for permanent hire. This role is ideal for local candidates only-must reside within 45 minutes of the clinic. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory or clinical setting
- Assist with patient intake, vital signs, clinical documentation, and general administrative support
- Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate and timely record-keeping
- Maintain workflow in a busy medical office environment
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting (required)
- One of the following is required:
- Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Active CT CNA, EMT, or Paramedic Certification (preferred)
- In lieu of education, at least 2 years of direct patient care experience in acute or ambulatory care
- Experience with Epic EMR (preferred)
- Prior experience in a high-volume medical office (preferred)
