Join our team as a Facility Maintenance Technician II, where your skills in basic electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC, and mechanical troubleshooting will be put to good use throughout our facility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquaint yourself with Facilities Maintenance concepts and methodologies.
  • Execute complex repairs on equipment, as well as maintain facilities and grounds.
  • Handle basic maintenance duties such as furniture relocation, light electrical and plumbing tasks, painting, minor construction, event setup assistance, asphalt patching, sign repairs, and light janitorial work.
  • Oversee the repair or replacement of doors and locks.
  • Respond effectively to customer requests regarding building or equipment concerns.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and grounds to identify safety hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Tackle issues proactively and escalate complex problems to senior staff when necessary.
  • Document daily work assignments and actions taken.
  • Adhere to the company’s Facilities Maintenance standards and policies.
  • Support various projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a related field, OR a relevant degree/certification beyond high school, OR 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient knowledge and skills in performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, reaching, talking, and hearing regularly; stooping, kneeling, bending, squatting, and climbing frequently.
  • Medium strength with the ability to lift 1-50 pounds.
  • Vision capabilities require close, distant, and color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with custodial duties.

Compensation:

The hourly base pay rate ranges from $19.57 to $29.38. Compensation may vary based on the position's location and the candidate's skills and experience. Additional compensation, such as commissions or incentive programs, may be available.

Benefits:

Employees can enjoy a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off each month, in addition to seven paid holidays each year. Additional paid time off is available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteering, military service, and parental leave.
