The Specialist, Ho'okele Implementation & Practice leads learning and development efforts to identify and implement best practices in the use of Ho'okele, LT's information & constituent management system and single source of truth supporting data-informed decision-making at the program and organizational level. The Specialist works with LT support departments and program locations to curate and train on all Ho'okele and Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) functionality to ensure consistency of use supporting program implementation to ensure documentation and tracking of outcomes/impact for kamali`i and `ohana served by the Trust. This includes engaging with end users on all levels to identify and resolve any system or operational issues impacting data input and update/onboard training materials as necessary, leading coordination of Data Documentation Sessions, and participating as a member of the Ho'okele Continuous Quality Improvement Committee. The Specialist works closely with LT leadership and all LT progam locations to support implementation of LT's diverse Youth Programming in a manner that ensures innovation, best practice application and cultural resonance in a manner that reflects the mission, vision, and values of the Trust.
Essential Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive blend of instructor-led, eLearning, and distance learning that enhances and strengthens professional development and improves teammate skills and competencies related to use of LT's Ho'okele Information and Constituent Management System, data consistency, and outcome/impact reporting related to the delivery of best practices in clinical and cultural interventions, programs, and practices aligned with organizational values and mission.
- Facilitate large and small scale learning sessions for all LT program locations and support departments and create an engaging learning space to enhance end-user engagement, proficiency, and confidence in use of Ho'okele.
- Provide ongoing support to all LT program locations and departments through organizing and facilitating of weekly Data Documentation sessions. Champion data-informed practices across the organization.
- Respond to program related Ho'okele IT Help Desk ticket requests. Address and resolve end-user issues promptly to ensure support of documentation consistency and data-informed practices.
- Collaborate with LT program locations and departments to gather feedback about the quality and impact of training. Analyze feedback and continuously update training materials based on organizational needs, end-user input and system updates.
- Participate in weekly Ho'okele/Salesforce Continuous Quality Improvement Committee (CQI) to monitor and address end-user feedback, current/future system updates, and issue resolution.
- Ensure that all Ho'okele training programs and system usage complies with LT organizational policies and procedures. Regularly review and contribute to updating of policies and procedures, as applicable, in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements. Communicate any Ho'okele related updates across the organization.
- Kipuka Services support and technical assistance as needed:
- Consultation services, such as practice supports or program design that reflect LT policy and documentation requirements.
- Assist in quality improvement activities and initiatives at LT program locations.
- Provide coverage and staffing at various LT program locations where applicable.
- Contributes to the Trust's success by accepting new assignments, helping team members, learning new skills, and striving to improves team and organization results.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, education or related field, or acceptable equivalent. Knowledge of youth development programming and casework and at least 3 years of relevant experience in field.
- Project management experience taking initiatives from ideation to implementation.
- At least 3 years experience in supporting the design and facilitation of learning initiatives in a professional setting.
- At least 3 years experience in supporting information system records management and reporting.
- Valid driver license, clean traffic abstract, and access to a privately owned automobile with valid no-fault insurance.
- TB clearance.
- First Aid and CPR/AED Certification, preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to Collaborate: Interact effectively with at-risk youth, community partners, and multi-disciplinary teams. Support organizational goals and outcomes, rather than solely for individuals or single team benefit.
- Demonstrated ability to Communicate: Clearly conveys and receive information and ideas to individuals or groups that engages the listener and invites response and feedback. Demonstrate good written, oral, and listening skills.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated expertise in direct practice involving case and groupwork, trauma-informed approaches, youth development, and quality assurance processes:
- Respects and relates well to people from varied backgrounds and is sensitive to group differences. Experience in working with or working knowledge of at-risk youth.
- Knowledge of diversity and cultural competency, interpersonal relationships, impacts of illness, trauma or injury, and the effects of the physical, social and cultural environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in all phases of adult learning and skill development to include but not limited to:
- Ability to design training and instructional materials and ability to train, coach and consult on construction and application of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ability to quickly acquire necessary level of knowledge to support the development and updating of policies, procedures, and guidelines across LT programming.
- Program and project management skills (intermediate to advanced)
- Ability to effectively oversee a number of deliverables and manage them to timely completion; to identify priorities aligned with organizational needs when faced with competing and sometimes emergent demands for resources.
- Ability to effectively work in an interdisciplinary teaming environment, cross-communicating and coordinating toward mutual engagement and understanding.
- Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, strategic and creative problem-solving skills are essential.
- Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to remain flexible in adapting to change and learning new systems and processes. Tolerance for ambiguity, emergence, and divergent work.
- Demonstrated ability and success in collaborative efforts, ability to lead and work as member of a multidisciplinary team, understand organizational culture, systems and importance of community.
- Understanding of systems, design thinking, adult learning styles, and coaching strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently where necessary and take initiative to accomplish tasks toward meeting of key deadlines.
- Proficiency with MS Office software and Salesforce-based applications is desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours when necessary, including nights and weekends, to meet key development, design, and implementation deadlines.
- Ability to work in environments that are in-office, virtual, and/or field-based.
- Ability to travel to kīpuka and other locations required for meetings, conferences and events.
