Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP and non-SAP integration design, specifically focused on IDocs, Demand Planning, and middleware-driven orchestration. This role is a key contributor within a global, distributed program team and is responsible for defining high-quality integration specifications and ensuring seamless cross-platform data and process flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global requirements-gathering workshops across business and technical teams.
  • Develop detailed, high-quality Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for SAP and non-SAP integrations.
  • Define integration logic including field mappings, transformation rules, dependencies, validations, and error-handling.
  • Partner with middleware teams (SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, etc.) to ensure functional-technical alignment.
  • Document end-to-end process flows, data flows, and system interaction diagrams.
  • Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams across IST / EST / PST time zones to support development, testing, and deployment.
  • Support SIT, UAT, and cutover activities by validating integration behavior and ensuring functional completeness.
  • Perform gap analysis, root-cause analysis, and drive integration issue resolution across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.
  • Ensure adherence to solution architecture, integration governance, and audit/compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years as a BSA / Functional Analyst / Integration Analyst.
  • Proven expertise writing functional specs for SAP and non-SAP integrations with a middleware-centric approach.
  • Deep understanding of integration patterns: APIs, IDocs, EDI, queues, file-based transfers, synchronous/asynchronous flows.
  • Strong ability to convert business processes into scalable, testable functional designs.
  • Demonstrated experience working with global distributed teams (onsite/offshore).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to drive clarity in complex, fast-moving environments with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail or apparel industry experience.
  • Supply Chain expertise - Demand Planning, Allocation, Inventory, Fulfillment, Planning Systems.
  • Experience in large ERP landscapes (SAP ECC/S4, OMS, planning tools, DC systems, vendor platforms).
  • Exposure to Agile, JIRA, Confluence, and integration governance frameworks.
