Title: Full Time School Bus Driver (Cover Driver)
Description:
The Roaring Fork School District is hiring a full time school bus driver to drive activity trips and substitute for daily routes during the school year. Requires a flexible schedule to include some evenings and weekends throughout the school year. The person in this position will work 174 days during the school year, however the position is paid year round. This is a great opportunity to work during the school year and enjoy summers off This position is also eligible for year round benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance.
Duties to include:
- Substitute drive for daily routes throughout the district
- Drive assigned trips (including evenings and weekends)
- Light mechanical assistance
- Assist office staff with projects
- Assist with bus upkeep
- Deliver interoffice mail throughout the school district
- Commercial Drivers License with school bus and student endorsements and all related state requirements
- Complete the Trip Driver Training requirements
- Ability to learn and to drive any route in the district
- Over the Road driving skills for activities
SALARY RANGE AND DAYS WORKED
Hourly Rate: $25.38 - $30.88 per hour based on experience.
