About the Role

Are you a hands-on business systems expert ready to lead and build smarter processes?

We're looking for a Lead Business Technology Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business and technology - someone passionate about automating workflows, connecting data across systems, and empowering teams to work smarter.

This is a "playing manager" role - ideal for an experienced analyst or engineer eager to take the next step into leadership. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in acquisitions, renovations, leasing, and accounting, guiding two junior analysts while bridging communication between our U.S. operations and Japan IT headquarters.

What You'll Do
1. Drive Business Process Innovation
  • Partner with business units to identify pain points and automation opportunities.
  • Design and implement process improvements using tools like Python, SQL, and APIs.
  • Integrate data across Salesforce, QuickBooks, Propertyware, Buildertrend, and other systems.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and deliver fast, practical technical solutions.
2. Lead & Mentor a Growing Team
  • Manage and mentor two junior Business Process Analysts.
  • Set clear goals, provide technical guidance, and foster a collaborative culture.
  • Balance hands-on technical work with people development.
3. Bridge Between U.S. and Japan IT
  • Serve as a key liaison between U.S. operations and Japan HQ.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in both English and Japanese.
  • Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions across regions.
What We're Looking For
  • Language Skills: Business-level fluency in Japanese and English (required).
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years in roles such as Business Systems Analyst, IT Analyst, or Systems Engineer.
    • Hands-on experience in process automation, data management, or system integration.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SQL and database design.
    • Scripting experience (Python preferred) for automation or API integration.
    • Familiarity with business platforms like Salesforce, ERP, or accounting systems.
  • Leadership Mindset: Eager to mentor others and grow into a management role.
