Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead a small team of tax professionals within one of our regional offices. This leadership role offers the opportunity to manage complex engagements, mentor staff, and contribute to firm-wide success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing tax team
- Manage and review complex tax engagements for individuals and businesses
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide proactive tax planning guidance
- Collaborate with firm leadership to support strategic initiatives
- Monitor deadlines, budgets, and workflow to ensure timely delivery of services
- Active CPA license (required)
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or similar field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in public accounting (tax focus)
- Proven leadership and staff management skills
- Strong client service and communication abilities
- Experience with tax software and project management tools preferred
- Competitive salary: $140K-$200K DOE
