About the Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will help clients improve their speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs. Additionally, you will provide education and support to clients and their families, empowering them to understand and manage their conditions effectively. Your contributions will not only impact individual clients but also foster a more inclusive environment for those with communication challenges.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults.
  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to support client goals.

Strong communication skills are vital for conveying complex information to clients and their families in an understandable manner.
