Job Summary: Join our dynamic pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Operations Manager, where you'll provide essential consulting services to patients about medications and promote clinical healthcare services. You'll ensure that medications are accurately dispensed and manage pharmacy workflows to enhance financial performance and patient experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Patient Engagement: Greet and assist patients, resolving their inquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction. Lead by example to foster a positive service experience through effective communication and empathy.
  • Operational Excellence: Counsel patients on medication usage, manage pharmacy workflow, and perform essential pharmacist tasks, including compounding and dispensation of medications in accordance with laws and policies.
  • Compliance and Inventory Management: Ensure pharmacy operations comply with regulations while overseeing staff scheduling and roles. Manage inventory effectively to optimize productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with management in hiring, performance evaluations, and professional development of pharmacy staff, ensuring a constructive work environment.
  • Continuous Learning: Maintain licensing and enhance knowledge of pharmacy and healthcare practices through ongoing education and training.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with local healthcare providers and participate in community health initiatives to promote pharmacy services and wellness.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid pharmacist licensure in the respective state.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, including prescription filling and operational knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of controlled substance laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
