  • Essential Functions:
    • Demonstrate competency in essential job-related skills for various customer populations and departmental services.
    • Assist in positioning patients for MRI and/or CT exams after receiving appropriate training.
    • Utilize venipuncture skills to support CT and MRI technicians as needed.
    • Understand standard concepts, practices, and procedures in this field.
    • Employ experience and judgment to effectively plan and achieve goals.
    • Perform a variety of tasks to assist remote technologists.
    • Support daily operations of the imaging center in collaboration with other staff.
    • Position and assist patients during MRI procedures for the ROCC team.
    • Screen patients effectively.
    • Start IVs and administer contrast as required.
    • Accurate entry of patient notes into the RIS system.

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • BLS Certification.
    • ARRT License.
    • State License.
    • Experience with IV starts and/or venipuncture.
  • Physical Demands:
    • This position may involve lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, and requires sitting for extended periods, along with frequent standing and walking.
  • Dress Attire:
    • Business casual or scrubs based on department requirements.
