Job Title: Junior Accountant

Summary:

Our company is growing at an unprecedented rate and is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a head for numbers, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel. This role reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor and requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements

  • Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers

  • Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue

  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Maintain and record fixed assets

  • Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary

  • Act as a liaison with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred)

  • 2+ years of related accounting experience (preferred)

  • Hands-on experience with general ledgers

  • SaaS accounting experience a plus

  • Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

  • Professional, customer-focused attitude

Compensation:
$60,000-$65,000 per year
