Pay Information
$1,900 to $2,000 per week
About The Position
- Deliver direct patient care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum mothers and newborns.
- Monitor and interpret fetal and maternal assessments using AWHONN standards.
- Support labor induction, augmentation, and delivery procedures (vaginal and operative).
- Administer medications and manage IV and epidural therapies per policy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies and participate in neonatal resuscitations.
- Accurately document all patient care in Epic EMR.
- Participate in unit on-call rotation (12 hours per 6-week period).
- Float to other maternal-child units or sister campuses as required.
- Contribute positively to unit culture and teamwork; function as core staff.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Travel Experience: Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (completed and passed)
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) Certification
- Degree from an accredited nursing program (must be documented on profile)
