Job Summary and QualificationsThe Radiologic Imaging Specialist will perform diagnostic imaging exams while delivering the highest level of customer service and image quality.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for patient populations specific to your department.
- Understand growth and development principles and assess patient needs according to their age.
- Assess the learning capabilities of patients and families, incorporating individualized teaching methods.
- Deliver compassionate, holistic care while respecting the rights and dignity of all patients.
- Show proficiency in operating equipment and following procedures within the radiology department.
- Graduate of a 24-month Radiologic Technology Program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Preferred: One year of acute care experience; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
