Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional radiology training or technical school preferred
  • Certifications Requirements: ARRT certification in Radiography, State Radiologic Licensure, CPR certification
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of recent radiology or X-ray tech experience in a hospital setting
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work both day and night shifts, strong technical and communication skills, flexibility to float between departments, proficient in EMR systems, and must possess a valid driver's license

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality radiology services by accurately performing X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Maintain and operate radiology equipment, ensuring proper calibration, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive patient care and facilitate smooth workflow.
  • Document patient information and procedure details thoroughly in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Execute all duties with professionalism, adhering to safety standards, confidentiality, and legal regulations while adapting to shift schedules including days and nights.
