Patient Service Representative

ZingHR is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our growing healthcare team. Responsibilities- Answer patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and general information in a professional manner.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments while minimizing gaps and optimizing clinic operations.
- Process patient registration, ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions.
- Provide assistance to patients in completing necessary forms and insurance documentation as needed.
- Support healthcare providers by preparing patient charts and managing incoming phone calls and triaging them appropriately.
- Follow up with patients regarding test results, treatment plans, and any necessary additional information required for care.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and enhance the overall patient experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration preferred.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and support.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in using healthcare-related software and technology, as well as standard office applications.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
