As a Therapeutic Support Specialist, you will have the rewarding opportunity to enhance patients' lives through targeted therapeutic and self-care activities. You will work closely under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to help patients improve their functional abilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring patient activities to ensure proper execution and providing encouragement throughout their treatment.
  • Participating in meetings and case conferences to collaborate on comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Documenting patients' weekly progress meticulously in appropriate records to support their therapeutic journey.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment, including management of equipment and supply inventory.
  • Instructing patients, their families, and caregivers on essential skills and techniques necessary for successful treatment, all under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
