You will be the Systems Engineer Manager - ADP Systems I&T for the ADP Systems Integration and Test Team which is responsible for delivering integrated, high-performance system capabilities across the portfolio.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Engineer Manager - ADP Systems I&T you will be responsible for leading a high-impact engineering organization that drives technical road-maps, integration plans, and anomaly resolution across multiple domains.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a top-tier Capability Integration Strategy (CIS) team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Define and manage the technical roadmap and integrated JIRA backlog, ensuring traceability from strategy to execution.
- Create and execute functional integration plans and test-thread frameworks to validate capabilities across segments and operational scenarios.
- Govern capability release processes and lead end-to-end anomaly resolution, guaranteeing compliance with technical and quality standards.
- Design and implement data-driven metrics to monitor engineering execution and product performance.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's in STEM degree (Systems Engineering or Computer Science preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Technical Program Management, or a related discipline in an Agile/DevSecOps development environment.
Desired skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the application of Agile principles within a systems engineering framework.
• Ability to decompose complex customer requirement into actionable features and stories for development teams, ensuring traceability and alignment with overall system requirements.
• Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools (e.g., SysML) to visualize system architecture, define interfaces, and maintain requirements traceability throughout iterative development cycles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges within a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the full system life cycle (requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment) and how to adapt traditional engineering processes to an iterative, continuous improvement model.
• Experience defining and documenting system requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams.
• Technical proficiency in relevant domains such as software development, network configuration, and hardware/software integration environments.
Technical Writing: Authored and edited comprehensive technical documentation.
• Expertise in simplifying complex technical information for diverse audiences.
Presentation & Public Speaking: Expert in developing and delivering high-impact PowerPoint presentations and public speeches to stakeholders and large audiences.
• Project Management & Coordination: Managed and coordinated cross-functional project teams to ensure project milestones were achieved on time and within budget.
• Planning & Scheduling: Developed comprehensive project plans and schedules, allocating resources effectively and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Data & Analytics: Proficient in data analysis, data architecture, and data presentation, leveraging various tools to drive informed decision-making and optimize project outcomes.
• Leadership & Accountability: Established clear performance expectations and ensured accountability across teams, fostering a results-driven environment and providing constructive feedback for performance improvement.
• Interpersonal/People Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
Tools Proficiency
• Microsoft Office Suite: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint for documentation, analysis, and presentations.
• Project Management Software: Expert user of Microsoft Project and/or Open Plan for detailed scheduling, tracking, and resource management.
• Database Tools: Sufficient in various tools for database management, data analysis, and data architecture/modeling. (SQL, Python, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Teamcenter, Xcelerator, etc.).

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
