Foreclosure Specialist

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, We are seeking a Foreclosure Specialist to join the Foreclosure Team of our large loss mitigation law firm client. This role involves entering data into the case management system, packaging files for compliance review, assisting with real estate closings, and updating/monitoring client systems.

Our client represents financial institutions, investors, title insurers, housing authorities, and select businesses in matters involving title, loan servicing, mortgage banking, consumer finance, title insurance, real estate finance, and mortgage loan enforcement.

Foreclosure Specialist responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Entering mortgage details into the case management system.
• Ensuring the Note has been properly endorsed.
• Reviewing mortgage terms for any pre-foreclosure notice requirements and confirming that letters sent are compliant.
• Packaging documents for compliance review.
• Assisting with real estate closing files as needed.
• Monitoring all tasks due in the case management system and/or client systems, ensuring tasks are completed daily, or entering an appropriate reprojection with a valid reason if a task cannot be completed.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of administrative experience (bankruptcy, foreclosure, or mortgage experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High reliability in attendance, daily responsibilities, and meeting project deadline.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Pay Rate Range: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour, DOE

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
