Nursing Home Business Office Manager (BOM)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Nursing Home Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our team at Canton Center For Nursing and Healing in Canton, Georgia. As a key member of our administration team, the BOM will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our business office, ensuring efficient and effective management of our financial, human resources, and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the business office, including budgeting, financial reporting, and accounting functions
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the business office staff, including administrative assistants, accounting clerks, and other support staff
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including budget forecasts and variance reports
  • Assist in the development and implementation of long-term care facility's strategic plans and initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Administration team
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting, with a focus on business office management
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (n/a)
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
