Located just north of Pittsburgh, it is the largest suburban school district in Allegheny County with over 8,500 students.

The Field Support Technician is a support team member responsible for technical maintenance and support of District-supported hardware and software and infrastructure at the building level to help facilitate efficient and effective support of staff and students to avoid disruptions to the learning environment.
Anticipated Annual Salary Range is $47,000 - $52,000, pro-rated based on date of hire.

Minimum requirements include:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field preferred.
  • Two years of experience in Information Systems or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience installing and maintaining classroom instructional technology.
  • Knowledge and experience installing and maintaining cabling, network switches and UPS units.
  • Vendor-specific repair training certifications as required
  • Comptia A+ or Network+ or comparable certification, preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required to drive District vehicles
Current clearances are required and include:
  • Child Abuse History Clearance
  • PA Criminal Record Check
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance
  • Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training
  • Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment Physical and TB Test.
