In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of developing a cloud-based platform that revolutionizes the integration of development and operations. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, implement, and integrate a cutting-edge cloud computing infrastructure, driving efficiency and innovation throughout our processes.
What You Will Do:
- Support the transition of systems closely tied to underlying infrastructure.
- Assist in architecture, design, development, integration, and support of CI/CD pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability in cloud environments.
- Apply industry best practices and capabilities to enhance scalability, streamline processes, and automate configuration management.
- Collaborate with fellow software engineers and agile development teams to implement robust platform solutions.
- Integrate security and compliance into the platform, utilizing encryption and access management services.
- Provide operational support for the platform.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- BS/BA Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics) and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and integrating cloud-based systems, particularly on AWS.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
- Proficient in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
- Current TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is required on day one.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with deployment, configuration, and support of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, Gitlab).
- Knowledge in developing, testing, and delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework.
- Familiarity with RedHat Linux and infrastructure components like computers, networks, and storage.
- Experience with scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Fortify).
- Background in COTS/FOSS product installation and configuration.
