Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Probate Attorney to join our client's growing Trusts & Estates practice.
- The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience handling probate matters from start to finish, including contested and uncontested proceedings, trust administration, and estate planning.
- Manage a caseload of probate and trust administration matters from intake through resolution
- Draft, review, and file all necessary court documents, including petitions, inventories, accountings, and closing statements
- Represent clients in probate hearings, mediations, and contested matters
- Advise fiduciaries and beneficiaries on probate and trust administration procedures
- Prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Coordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure seamless estate administration
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and updates
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Member in good standing with The Florida Bar
- Minimum of 5 + years' experience in probate law and trust administration
- Strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet court deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
- Experience with contested probate litigation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
