Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $100,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements for multiple properties.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Assist with audits and tax filings.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or finance.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Strong Excel) and r eal estate/property accounting software's (CenterSoft) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
