Shift: Days, will need to pick up call

Location: 9441 HEALTH CENTER DR, Land O Lakes, 34637

• Specialty hospital for medically complex patients
• Pulmonary and Vapotherm Center of Excellence
• Staff consists of all Registered Respiratory Therapist, 65% BSN or above RN's, Current staff certifications include CCRN, PCCN, CNML, WCNC, NEA-BC, and RN-BC
• Onsite BSN completion program partnership with South University with staff discounted rate
• Simulation Lab and Clinical Transition Pilot Program

The role you'll contribute:

Performs C.T. Scan procedures. Performs a variety of technical scanning procedures that require independent judgment and initiative as required in the application of ionizing radiation for C.T. Scan Diagnostic Procedures.

Uses medical imaging technologies to diagnose and monitor medical conditions. Helps prepare patients for imaging exams, including explaining the procedure, answering questions, and ensuring patient safety.

• Follows the proper HR policies to ensure accurate badging in and out on time each shift.
• Efficient utilization of department supplies and resources.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• Graduate from an accredited x-ray technology school with associate degree or certification and certificate of registry from the ARRT.
• Current Florida X-ray Technologist HRS license Required
• ARRT(R) registered Required Registered ARRT (R)(CT)
• 1+ hospital experience.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
