We are looking for an IT Services Sales Executive for the Banking & Financial Services sector to become a vital part of our team in Chicago, Illinois. Role Summary: As a Banking/Financial Services Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities in this sector. This position requires you to lead market engagement and client outreach across NTT DATA's expansive service portfolio, encompassing Applications, Business Process Outsourcing, Consulting, Digital Innovation, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security solutions. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with client representatives and internal NTT DATA experts to drive deal pursuits that deliver outstanding value and business results. We seek someone who approaches their work with an entrepreneurial mindset and is committed to demonstrating NTT DATA's ability to provide impactful solutions for our clients. This role holds excellent potential for motivated individuals who have a proven sales track record in the IT sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new logo opportunities within the Banking and Financial Services sector, generating new revenue and profit while meeting Total Contract Value (TCV), In-Year Revenue, and Gross Margin goals.
- Collaborate with Client Executives and Consulting Leads to implement effective sales strategies across NTT DATA's offerings.
- Serve as the Deal Pursuit Lead, managing executive communications with customer sponsors and NTT DATA senior leadership.
- Utilize marketing resources to launch targeted campaigns and lead generation activities, stimulating demand for specific solutions among new and existing accounts.
- Employ a comprehensive approach to effectively leverage NTT DATA’s assets to sell distinctive, outcome-oriented solutions for our clients.
- Diligently assess market trends and competitive influences, partnering with clients to cultivate unique and beneficial relationships.
- Maintain a strong record of meeting sales targets, including TCV, Revenue, or Gross Margin objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in the IT, intellectual property, and consulting services domain.
- A minimum of 5 years in a new business development role, successfully acquiring new accounts, specifically within Banking and Financial Services.
- Proven experience in selling IT Services and Consulting offerings, including management of professional services, with quantifiable success.
- Demonstrated sales success in exceeding annual quotas totaling $8 million or more in TCV.
- Solid understanding of the Banking/Financial Services industry and the ability to sell relevant consulting and IT solutions.
- Experience engaging with Third-Party Advisory firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC.
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.
