Job Summary

Summary: THE CONCESSIONS CASHIER PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN DELIVERING AN EXCEPTIONAL GUEST EXPERIENCE DURING GAMES, CONCERTS, AND SPECIAL EVENTS AT THE DELTA CENTER. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCTING STAND OPERATIONS, ENSURING HIGH-QUALITY FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE, AND SUPPORTING A CLEAN, SAFE, AND GUEST-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.

• Enters all sales into the POS system to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.

• Accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment, issues receipts to customers.

• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

• Responsible for all payment receipts & ensuring that stand inventory is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.

• Observes customer purchases in line and differntiates between standard portions.

• Replenishes condiments, beverages, and general suuplies while maintaining cleanliness of serivce areas.

• Keeps grab & go areas, fridges & Freezers stocked throughout service.

• Ensures compliance with Levy service standards, inventory and payment control procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Food handling experience preferred but not required.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Must be able to work felixible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

• Familiarity with food safety standards and POS systems.

• Must be at least 16 years old.

• Must obtain a valid Utah Food Handlers Permit.
