Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with current NYS DOH license, ARRT (R)(MR), IV certification, and Siemens MRI experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a smaller campus of a 700 bed teaching hospital
  • MRI department with focus on magnetic resonance imaging procedures
  • Siemens MRI equipment used, Siemens experience required
  • Shift is 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM including every other weekend
  • Scrubs must match top and bottom, any color permitted, but no patterns
  • No open toed shoes, excessive jewelry, or chipping paint on nails allowed
  • Long hair must be tied back and beards trimmed for fit testing
  • Professional appearance is strictly enforced
  • Local candidates within 60 miles considered at a reduced rate
Requirements
  • Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
  • ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
  • NYS Injection/IV Certification required
  • Valid BLS certification from AHA required
  • Minimum of 1 year MRI experience required, 2 years preferred
  • Siemens MRI experience required
  • Two professional references from the past year in current specialty required
