What You'll Achieve:

  • Lead a variety of technology initiatives and mentor a skilled team focused on developing solutions to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Stay abreast of the latest technological trends, and actively participate in technology communities while mentoring fellow engineers.

  • Work closely with product managers to design and deliver cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.

  • Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and a range of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree.

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience is not included).

  • At least 1 year of experience working with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree.

  • 7+ years of expertise in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.

  • 3+ years of experience using AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar cloud services.

  • 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.

  • 1+ year of managerial experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.

This position does not offer sponsorship for employment authorization. The salary for this role ranges based on location; for example, in McLean, VA, the salary is between $193,400 - $220,700, and in New York, NY, it ranges from $211,000 - $240,800.

In addition, this role can earn performance-based incentives, which may include cash bonuses or long-term incentives.
