Job Description:

Pay Range: $20hr - $22hr
  • Responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • The role includes tracking shipments, verifying incoming goods, maintaining inventory records, and operating material handling equipment upon certification.
  • Works under general supervision and follows established processes within identified boundaries and procedures.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary/associate's degree with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Work-related experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and integrity.

  • Little to no supervision needed.
Experience:
  • Performing shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
  • Using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts, etc., with proper certification.
  • Tracking shipments and maintaining records of received goods.
  • Handling inventory and stock distribution to manufacturing lines.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical and administrative tasks to support shipping, receiving, and storage operations.
  • Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials received against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Maintain records of products shipped and received.
  • ssess routing and arrangements for shipments considering item type, handling, urgency, and cost.
  • Calculate and record storage, redelivery, and other applicable charges.
  • Reroute urgent shipments or arrange special delivery as needed.
  • Operate material handling equipment following safety guidelines.
  • Perform wood shop functions such as operating power saws and nail guns for skids and crates if required.

  • Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
Qualification or Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice to Have:
  • ERP/MRP experience.
  • Experience with control software.
  • 49CFR and IATA certifications.
  • Knowledge of hazardous material shipping.
