Job Description
The Fixed Income Investment Associate is a three-year program in which a successful candidate will work closely with experienced researchers, portfolio managers and traders at LIM. Interaction will be based on investment team needs across multiple investment segments including corporate bonds, securitized, trading and alternatives. Research and investment training will be provided on an ongoing basis throughout your tenure and will be accompanied with organizational initiatives to help you integrate as a potential employee at LIM. After successfully completing the program, you will be considered for a full-time position within our investment team at LIM, with placement based on your demonstrated interests, business needs, and available openings.
Fixed Income Investment Associate Rotational Program:
- Assist with research on corporate bonds, ABS, and CMBS, and support securitized performance and surveillance updates
- Support data aggregation and analysis across spreads, consumer, housing, and real estate markets
- Monitor and summarize rating changes, spread movements, and swap activity
- Assist with trade setup, allocation, and execution in liquid fixed-income sectors.
- Support portfolio analytics, including performance measurement and investment reporting
- Contribute to efforts improving data efficiency, storage, and linkage across systems
- Participate in rotations across credit and securitized sectors, receiving hands-on portfolio and research training
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects supporting investment research, portfolio management, and process enhancement
Required Skills & Experience:
- Completed bachelor's or master's degree by December 2025
- Demonstrated interest in investing / analysis through prior internship experience.
- Proven, effective verbal and written communication skills
- Programming experience in at least one of Python or MATLAB; familiar with SQL
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: must be able to synthesize information, identify the most important elements, and arrive at a conclusion

- Relevant experience within the investment industry
The salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. The final offer will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, and internal equity. Eligible employees are also offered a comprehensive and competitive benefits package
