About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Events Assistant to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of a variety of events. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about event management and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As an Events Assistant, you will work closely with our Events Coordinator and other team members to ensure that all aspects of events, from inception to completion, run smoothly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and organization of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
  • Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
  • Manage event registrations and maintain guest lists to ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and supplies.
  • Assist in the creation of event promotional materials, such as flyers, invitations, and programs.
  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring that everything runs according to plan and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software or tools.
  • A proactive attitude with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
