Venteon Finance is currently seeking a STAFF / PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT for a growing and stable real estate client in Oakland County, MI.
REQUIREMENTS of the Staff Accountant
- Bachelor s degree in accounting
- 1+ years of Accounting experience
- Real Estate / Property Accounting experience
- Complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement preparation including necessary accruals, CAM reconciliations and fixed asset accounting
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Assist Controller and Property Managers on annual property budget preparation
- Prepare annual CAM estimates and reconciliations for respective properties and assist with presentation to tenants
- Maintain rent roll for accuracy and add/delete tenants as appropriate
- Maintain all escrow accounts requesting reimbursements as often as possible
- Other duties and projects as assigned
