Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU
Location
Tupelo, MS
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
12-hour night shifts, 7 PM - 7:30 AM, on a 7 on/7 off schedule.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist for our Level 3 NICU unit. The ideal candidate must be flexible, willing to float to PICU and PEDS, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and provide respiratory care to neonates in the NICU.
- Hypothesis testing and management of respiratory issues.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
- Current and active licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
- 2 years of recent experience in a NICU setting.
- Certifications: ALS, BLS, PALS, NRP, NALS.
- Prior travel experience is preferred.
