Summary:

In this role, you'll work closely with customers, our sales team, and suppliers to prepare accurate quotations, manage projects, and ensure timely delivery of switchgear solutions.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong electrical distribution knowledge who enjoys problem-solving, customer interaction, and managing technical projects from start to finish.

Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems.

  • Working knowledge of switchgear, switchboards, transformers, panel-boards, motor control centers, circuit breakers, and fuses.

  • Strong math, grammar, and geometry skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with Square D products (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: 2-year Technical Degree or equivalent field experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Working conditions will be standard for an office environment & warehouse.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

  • Interpret project specifications, drawings, and requirements to prepare quotations (pricing, delivery, and technical details).

  • Value engineer projects to ensure 3E is positioned as the most competitive bidder.

  • Place material orders based on project/customer requirements.

  • Manage projects to ensure orders are delivered on time and according to specifications.

  • Collaborate with customers and the sales team to review project needs and recommend 3E solutions.

  • Act as the key contact between customers and suppliers for pricing, delivery, service, and technical support.

  • Provide product recommendations and design layouts for design-build projects.

  • Prepare operation and maintenance manuals after project completion.

  • Work independently while collaborating with the quotations team.
