Medley and Sons Autobody is a professional auto body repair shop in Fort Smith, AR. We have been in business since January 1959. Our mission is to leave our customers with a repair experience that will leave them glowing both inside and out We are a modern, comfortable, clean, and well-lighted shop known for our high quality workmanship. We use our highly developed skills to ensure our customers vehicles retain their retail value even though they have been damaged. We are looking for a individual with professional auto body painting or painters helper experience, or Votech Training to come on board. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Paint mixing with computerized scale
- Light body repair
- Sanding
- Priming
- Block sanding
- Masking
- Refinishing all types of vehicle repairs
- Buffing finished repairs
Job requirements:
- Experience as an auto body painter, painters helper, or Vocational Tech School Training is required. NO EXCEPTIONS
- Some tools will be required
- Drug free - Pre-employment drug test is required
- Dependability, eagerness to learn, easy to get along
- Good work history- at least 1 year at your last job
- Ability to pass background check
Wages: Wages depend on your knowledge, ability, and the speed which you work. We pay by the hour to ensure the highest quality. Generally at least $18.00 to $25.00 per hour to start for this position depending on your experience and work speed. We offer 5 paid holidays, 1 week vacation, profit sharing bonuses, and uniforms. Hours are generally 35-40 hours a week.
