TITLE: Flooring Assistant

REPORTS TO: Flooring Specialist

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months

JOB GOAL: Assists in the completion and installation of work order projects; altering, repairing and installing all of the flooring needs to enhance the instructional environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Installs carpet, tile, wood and other flooring material for the purpose of ensuring proper completion and installation of work order project
  • Inspects and cleans surface in preparation for material
  • Measures area to determine amount of material needed
  • Installs and assist in the installation of all flooring material
  • Cleans up all leftover material from flooring installation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to perform medium/heavy lifting exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Must be able to climb the ladder and be capable of traveling through the needed crawlspace area.
