Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operation Technical Specialist to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients' network infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and high performance. The Network Operation Technical Specialist will also provide technical support to our clients, troubleshoot any network issues, and implement new solutions to enhance network efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain clients' network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Implement new network solutions to improve performance and efficiency
- Provide technical support to clients for network-related issues
- Work closely with clients to understand their network needs and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with other systems
- Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams and configurations
- Conduct regular network audits to identify potential issues and make necessary adjustments
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in network operations and support
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices, such as switches, routers, and firewalls
- Familiarity with network security principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are a plus
