Job Description:

Automotive Customer Service Rep

Automotive Customer Service Rep / Warranty Admin / Service BDC / Cashier / Rental Agent.

Job Duties -

  • Processing warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verifying criteria required by factory or distributor.
  • Back-up the service cashier & rental agent
  • Keeping abreast of all factory recalls and announcements.
  • Assisting with outstanding claims.
  • Maintaining all service and customer records as required by the warranty.
  • Be Comfortable in an office and retail environment
  • Have a Positive attitude
  • Customer Service experience is a plus
  • Answer all incoming phone calls according to script and schedule a sales appointment.
  • Making outbound calls with the goal of setting appointments.
  • Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made
  • Contact Customers using scripts to schedule appointments for Sales and Service
  • Confirm scheduled appointments
  • Reschedule no-show Customer appointments
  • Schedule future contact as needed
  • Purify and update Customer changes in database
  • Generate letters, postcards, and emails according to a pre-determined timeline to automatically schedule follow-up reminders for next contact
  • Contact Customers based on current marketing initiatives
  • Respond to Customer website requests
  • Contact Internet Customers via email and phone to schedule an appointment
  • Follow up on Internet Customer emails according to a pre-determined timeline
  • Notify necessary departments when an appointment is scheduled
  • Ability to meet or exceed monthly goals.
Job Requirements:
  • Code warranty repair orders with proper warranty codes.
  • Back-up service cashier & rental agent
  • Possess good customer service skills.
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work an 8 hour shift
  • Scan service documents into our online file retention system.
  • Follow direction with minimal supervision
  • Ability to understand and follow a process
  • Understand the importance of a follow up process
