Position Details:

  • Location: Occupational Health Float Team

  • Status: PRN (non-exempt)

  • Shift: Monday-Friday

  • This will include every other weekend (Weekend Differential may apply)

The Urgent Care Rep is responsible for:

  • Responsible for supporting the urgent care operation by obtaining accurate patient and client information

  • Completing accurate and timely registrations

  • Collecting and posting charges and payments

  • Working in multiple systems simultaneously

  • Answering patient and client questions

  • Distributing information to patients and clients including medical record

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

  • Float Team: This PRN position will require travel to satellite locations providing own transportation (submitted, approved mileage reimbursable) throughout Pinellas, Hillsborough, & Pasco Counties. Sometimes this is with minimal notice. To compensate for the travel expectations, you will receive an additional $2.00/hour above your base rate when working & mileage reimbursement.

Required Education:

  • High School or Equivalent

Experience:

  • Required 6 months of healthcare

  • Or 6 months of Customer Service
