At the core of this offering is XRHealth's FDA-registered medical software, which powers therapeutic experiences delivered through VR headsets. As of January 2025, the platform is officially covered as DME under the new e1905 HCPCS code, enabling broad insurance reimbursement. This solution is tightly integrated with XRHealth's own virtual clinics, allowing patients to receive treatment remotely while clinicians monitor progress and adapt care plans in real time. The seamless collaboration between the software development team and clinical operations ensures an evidence-based, scalable model that sets a new standard for tech-enabled care delivery.
Role Overview
XRHealth is hiring an experienced Independent Sales Contractor (1099) to lead business development efforts targeting DME suppliers. This hybrid role is based out of Needham, MA and is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a commission-driven environment and has an existing network or experience within the DME industry.
This is an exciting opportunity to represent a disruptive digital health brand as it enters the DME space with high patient engagement and strong reimbursement potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Lead Generation
- Identify, target, and qualify DME suppliers through cold calling, networking, and referral outreach.
- Educate prospects on XRHealth's VR therapy solutions and the reimbursement opportunity as DME.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Present product value via virtual demos, calls, and in-person meetings.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers in DME, HME, and home health networks.
- Closing & Activation
- Drive deals from initial contact to signed agreement and onboarding.
- Support partners post-sale to ensure a smooth ramp-up and usage of XRHealth's platform.
- Market Feedback
- Report back market insights, competitor activity, and client needs to XRHealth leadership.
- Proven success in independent medical sales , especially in DME, medical device, or healthcare services .
- Existing network of DME suppliers or regional HME distributors is a strong plus.
- Ability to self-manage pipeline and close deals with minimal oversight.
- Comfortable using CRM tools and remote collaboration platforms.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and reimbursement pathways in healthcare.
- Independent Contractor (1099)
- Hybrid: Ideally based in the Greater Boston/Needham, MA area , with a mix of in-person team engagement and remote outreach to national prospects.
