Job Title: Lead SAP BW Datasphere Consultant

Location: NJ (Onsite)

Position Overview: The Lead SAP BW Datasphere Consultant will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain processes through advanced data management and analytics. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and SAP Datasphere, with a strong background in the Healthcare and Lifesciences industry. The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management & Integration:
    • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of SAP BW and Datasphere solutions.
    • Ensure seamless integration of data across various SAP modules and external data sources.
    • Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
    • Utilize SAP Datasphere to centralize and harmonize data from disparate sources, enabling a unified view of supply chain operations.
  1. Analytics & Reporting:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive reporting and analytics solutions to support supply chain operations.
    • Utilize SAP BW and Datasphere tools to generate insights that drive strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  1. Project Leadership & Management:
    • Lead data-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with IT and supply chain teams to implement data solutions that support business objectives.
    • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management on project status, risks, and outcomes.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by applying best practices in project management and data governance.
    • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members and project contributors.
  1. Performance Optimization:
    • Continuously monitor and improve the performance of data systems.
    • Identify and resolve data quality issues and system inefficiencies.
    • Implement best practices for data governance and security.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with supply chain, finance, and operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
    • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all SAP BW Datasphere-related matters within the supply chain domain.
